Indian Brigade and the wrong flag
It is known that the toy soldiers produced by Atlantic, previsely because they were conceived as toys and not as collectible models, often have details, dimensions and characteristics that are not previsely related to the historical subject reproduced; one is the case of the cover of the "Indian Brigade" packs of the 50, 80, 90 and 2020 series where the indian flag is shown in vertical rather than horizontal bands, a detail highlighted by his friend Mario R.

It should also be noted that during World War II India was still an English colony while the tricolor flag was only adopted later; initially by the provisional government of independent India, proclaimed in October 1943 and recognized by the powers of the axis and then definitively, with the addition to the center of the chakra (the wheel of the law), in 1947 by the Republic of India. |
