800 series first edition features

The first edition 800 series, produced in April 1975, is made up of 19 "book" packs measuring 13 x 18 x 3.5 cm, containing subjects in 1/32 scale, with catalog numbers from 801 to 819.

With the production of this series, Atlantic for the first time offered the children of the time to paint its toy soldiers, including the instructions for the colors of the various uniforms in the package; thus the "Atlantic MiniModellista" series was born, which also includes 800 Series second edition, the tank 830 Series and the Interlocking Fortifications Series.

Another novelty introduced by this series is the "book cover" inside which we find information on the coloring and assembly of the subjects contained and a brief historical description of the contents of the pack.

The Atlantic logo and the name of the subject are shown on the front of the packs, while the series number, the cover images and the catalog numbers of the entire series are shown on the back and on the side edges; it should be noted that only the last 3 packs show all the cover images of the entire series (less than 819) while the first 16 are only partially shown.
